Hurry Up!! Father’s Day is just around the corner. You do not want to get lost.

Portable GPS Navigation units are a great gift idea and very useful too.

There are several very nice things about these portable GPS units that I really like:
1) They are usually very easy to use.
2) You can take them with you almost anywhere. When you get out of the car, you can use these for hike, bike rides, and even walks around town.
3) They are easier and less expensive to get upgrades and stay up to dates on all the latest map/road changes.

What make this a great gift for dad is that it is ego saving. We all know how men hate to admit they are lost and will not stop to ask for questions. This eliminates that situation altogether. You can preprogram your destination into this for dad, and just have it on in the background. Then dad can hear the directions and pretend he knows where he is going without letting on that he is using the GPS. Or, he can turn it on himself and say he just loves to play with cool gadgets.

There are many, I mean tons, of different GPS units available. They all tend to offer the same basic features. There are three main manufacturers: Tom Tom, Magellan, and Garmin. They are all great.

I do not know why, but it is true. Women love to receives flowers. (It really doesn’t matter what the occasion is, they just love it.)

You can get the mom in your life perfume, jewelry, electronics

True, these are somewhat cliche and typical, but most women love these. They are always a safe bet. Me, I have gotten all of the above in the past, so I am going to get the French Press travel mug mentioned in a previous post. I am also going to get her some flowers. (I just had a great thought. I’ll use the mug as a vase!)

Okay, Mother’s Day is just around the corner. You can get her something typical, but I like to get creative!

My mother likes to drink coffee. Her favorite is Dunkin Donuts coffee. However, my son’s mom (my wife) fancies herself a coffee connoisseur.

She loves Starbuck’s French Roast (BOLD) coffee.

She always drinks coffee while commuting to work.

Okay, I can’t help myself. I love a good clean prank. I just discovered a fun little site that you can use to fool your friends and the best part: it is totally FREE !!
